Nature Journaling in South Denali
Join Jack and me for a 6-day/5-night Nature Journaling Retreat in breathtaking South Denali, Alaska!
Our home base will be Talkeetna, a tiny, vibrant, and artistic community known as the gateway to Denali’s wilderness. This funky little town (pop. 997) is a beloved stop on the Alaska Railroad and the final launching point for climbers heading up “the” mountain.
For five nights, we’ll stay together in the heart of Talkeetna, at the confluence of the Talkeetna and Susitna Rivers. Just a block from the walkable Main Street, our accommodations are modest, cozy motel-style rooms, each with a private bath—offering comfort and simplicity after days of wonder, discovery, and journaling.
