Service Description

Shapes in Nature is an engaging outdoor program designed specifically for Kindergarten to Grade 2 students. This hands on experience brings early geometry concepts to life through active exploration and guided Nature Journaling. Students step outside and become math detectives, uncovering circles, triangles, lines, and symmetry in the natural world around them. During this 60 to 90 minute program, students engage in structured observation and guided discussion to discover that math exists all around them. Branches form lines, petals create circles, and leaves reveal beautiful patterns of symmetry. By connecting classroom learning to real world examples, students develop a deeper and more meaningful understanding of foundational math concepts. Students leave with strengthened geometry skills, increased confidence in observation, and a growing appreciation for the patterns found in nature. Programs starting at $250 + tax/class (up to 30 students). NOTE: STARTING PRICES WILL INCREASE FOR FALL 2026: Starting at $275 + tax/class (up to 30 students) Mileage fees apply beyond 50 km.
